August 31st Update from Murrayfield on SCRUMS - Scottish Rugby Management System

Scottish Rugby is introducing a new data management system to enhance communications and facilitate player registration.

SCRUMS was initially planned to be up and running for the new season, but unfortunately things appear to have gone slightly awry during the testing phase.

West Region Shield & Bowl Fixtures - 26 August 2017

What limited coverage Club rugby gets in Scotland is happily telling us that today is the start of the competitive rugby season, but we all know that for West Region that was last weekend when we had the prelim round in the Shield.

2017 Youth & School Conferences Launched

The SRU have launched this seasons Youth & Schools competitions with an event at Murrayfield.

The background blurb to the Conferences is available here, whilst you can find the fixtures for the Tier 1- 3 Conferences on the SRU website here.

There's been a bit of tweaking to the format, but in general it's pretty similar to last season.  The most noticable change is in the names of the Conferences which, following the sponsorship deal with Mitsubishi Motors UK, have been aligned with Mitsubishi model names.

2017/18 Season Kicks-off with BT West Regional Shield

The competitive rugby season kicks-off in West Region this weekend, but unfortunately we have already had to start the unfulfilled fixtures spreadsheet so we can add a couple of entries to it.
